About Me
I am a minister in a small town in north west Ohio. I also work in a resturant, but it's cool because I love to cook. I'm neigh onto two years of marriage with the woman who holds my heart. Dante was right when he said that "He who has not felt this can never understand."
Music
I'll let a cross section of my playlists do the talking here.
Movies
Classic films and modern ones with good stories, uniqueness, and/or artistic merit. If you can find them that is. And B-movies which have none of the above traits but they do make me laugh.
TV
I rarely watch it. I like Mythbusters from time to time.
Books
The Holy Bible, Tolkien, E.A.Poe, Dante, Literary classics, Philosophy, Samuel Clemins, Theodore Guissel, History, Non-fiction, Ewart Oakesshot
Likes
Religion, Philosophy, Languages, the color green, pork rinds, swiss rolls, reading, excentrisity.
Dislikes
Math, spelling, mayonaise and mustard combinations, most modern books, films, and television.
Hobbies
Reading, writting poetry, medieval reenactment (that's a bit of a no-brainer on here), calligraphy, making jewelry, making weapons and armor, customising weapons and armor, historical costume designing, heraldry.
Vices
I'm a bit anal retentive about details.
Virtues
I try to live by the code of my knightly order:
Strength
Courtesy
Honor
Hope
Charity
Justice
Temperence
Prudence
Humility
And above all else
Faith in God in the highest.
Heroes
For those who don't speak Latin, "Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit."
Hey for those that are interested, my reenactment troop has a new official site. It's www.orderoftherouseclan.org. It's still being worked on, but most of it is opperational. Currently we're working on getting the stories of the characters we portray on there. We are also building a forum for history and general reenactment/ faire discussions, roleplays, and quite a few other things. So stop by and drop us a line using our contacts form. We like feedback and suggestions to help us make improvements.
The Most Noble Order of the Rouse Clan is doing our first ever open to the public event.
